Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Standard (16 core) is an enterprise-class operating system, provides hybrid cloud and data processing as well as a new level of security and innovation for enterprise applications and infrastructure. Numerous innovations are implemented in a hybrid, secure, hyperconverged application platform and infrastructure.
Core-based licensing model: To license a physical server, all physical cores must be licensed. A minimum of 8 licenses are required for each physical processor on the server.
